Biography
"Are you Unsigned"

Unsigned was there when the shit hit the fan. Unsigned was there when being underground still meant something. Unsigned was there when a guy showed up at a party in Evansville, In. armed with a 9mm Beretta on a holster and a kevlar suitcase with three kinds of heroin, six brands of valium and four grades of indo inside. Unsigned was there when Budweiser started airing those insane ads on MTV. Unsigned was there when the President of the United States was getting blowjobs from some intern. Unsigned was there when everything was the same and nothing ever changed. And when it finally started raining again - Unsigned was there.

A lifetime in the making, "Satans Sideshow" has turned the newest installment in the "Accounts of a Life Less Ordinary" series - "Unsigned" - Although the screams have given way to age and deeper meaning, the message remains the same, "Music is the only religion you'll ever need." Jeremy Caine former frontman to such acts as Psychotic Krunch and 1369 brings forward his post-apocalyptic vision where the wreckage of minds, machines and souls are scattered across the war-zone of manipulation, fear and loneliness. This is one act you must experience.
20 BIRTHFEST QUESTIONS: answered by Jeremy Caine
1. If you could have a "love child" with any band member in BIRTHFEST, who would it be and why? Not to dis my boys, (Mike from M.F.B. or Brandon from Unsigned), but I choose Matt McGuyer from MenSana - He may not remember (or want to remember for that matter) but I met him over ten years ago as he was giving a serious beating to a drum symbol autographed by, (get this) "Cinderella" (of hairband fame) - He tore that tainted piece of metal apart after waiting all day just to get those signatures. (We were both really young at the time.) For that I have to give respect!

2. If you were stranded on a dessert island, what 5 c.d.'s would you need in order to survive? (Really depends on what day of the week I got stranded! - Today it would be:) David Gray "Lost Songs 1998 - 2000", Counting Crows "Live across a wire in New York" (Storytellers Disc), Tool "Laterallus", Alice in Chains "Jar of Flies" & finally K's Choice "Cocoon Crash" or "Almost Happy" (If I got stranded on the weekend the selection would be far more brutal!)

3. What are your top 3 movies of all time? Natural Born Killers, Mulholland Drive, and just about anything written by Kevin Smith!

4. If you had to spend on one meal for yourself what would you eat? I would find a venue that would hold the "Birthfest Cagematch" and then cater it with Beer and Wick's Pizza! (Wick's pizza is in Louisville and it fucking dominates everything else!)

5. If you only had to spend on one meal for yourself what would you eat? I wouldn't eat, I get a Diet Coke, a pack of cigarettes and a fucking job!

6. What is your favorite book of all time? "Divine Comedy" (The Inferno) - Dante

7. Other than music, what is one thing you enjoy doing with your spare time? Getting drunk and quoting Mike Adams, "You mind if I take off my shirt?"

8. If you were an animal what would you be? A dog - so I could spend the entire day licking my own balls!

9. FINISH THIS SENTENCE: "ITS NOT A PARTY UNTIL..............? Its not a party until someone dies! (or at the very least wishes they were dead!)

10. Who would play your role if they made a movie about your band? Well, normally I would have a better answer, but if you were to ask the 10 or 12 assholes that have told me that I look like the singer for Saliva this week alone, I am sure they would say him! (I also get the "Silent Bob" thing alot) - Jack Black would straighten shit out as well.

11. What band would you most like to open for? Incubus - (For my money, they are the best band working today.)

12. If you were a character in the movie "Pulp Fiction" who would you be? John Travolta - Vincent Vega! ("You'd dig it the most!")

13. Who would be your dream date? "Porn - It's cheaper than dating!"

14. What is the craziest thing that ever happened at one of your shows? Well through all the bands and shows I've known and braved with Mike Adams, you can take your pick. I'm sure that every show had something that was considered, "the craziest thing that ever happened" at that particular time!

15. What is your favorite drink? Beer (Today's "Drug of Choice")

16. Name one thing that not many people know about you that you would like them to know? More than a few years ago (more than 5, less than 10) The band I was playing in (Not to mention the other 2 bands playing their original material) were robbed, (wasn't the first time, and wouldn't be the last) in a "Battle of the Bands" by losing to some cover band called WolfGang. That's when I realized what alot (not all) of the people in this town are about, and I was (and have been ever since) embarrassed for them. (Brokedicks!)

17. What was your most embarassing moment?  My answer for question number eight, I think I'm scarred for life after telling the world I'd lick my own genetalia if I were a Dog.

18. If you could change one thing about the world what would you change? This is a subject I feel very strongly about, Every musician (including the posuers) would write and perform his/her OWN music or be forced to suffer through a slow death in a prison where everyone thinks they are cute!

19. Give one word that describes your existence? Well, "UNSIGNED" actually!

20. What will be your epitaph? Jeremy who?!
