Biography
Primarily an extension of filmmaker/composer Brick Briscoe's music persona, the Dicksville Conspiracy Unit is a trio comprised of Briscoe, a preacher's husband and the anti-christ. The odd combination of personalities keeps them honest and produces a healthy artistic discourse. The Dicksville Conspiracy Unit plays many free shows for their brothers in the local prison, as well as hosting free rave evenings at their own chalet the Pillbox. It may be loud, it may be quiet...it just depends on how they feel that night. File under Jazz/Punk/Free Love.

1. If you were stranded on a dessert island what 5 c.d.'s would you need in order to survive? The Jam "Sound Affects", Patti Smith "Easter", The Beatles "Abbey Road", Caetano Veloso "Estrangerio", Thelonius Monk "Brilliant Corners". I'd also sneak in Television "Marquee Moon" and Blur "Modern Life is Rubbish".
2. What are your top 3 movies of all time? Shoot the Piano Player, The Sacrifice and Pierrot Le Fou.
3. If you had to spend on one meal for yourself, what would you eat? Sushi and Beer
4. If you only had to spend on one meal for yourself, what would you eat? Cherrios and orange juice
5. If you could have a "love child" with any one person on BIRTHFEST who would it be and why? Steve Sandleben...because he is the only one at birthfest 2002 that I really love.
6. What is your favorite book of all time? Hollywood by Charles Bukowski
7. Other than music, what do you enjoy doing with your free time? Love to play golf...love to make films
8. If you were an animal, what would you be? It would be interesting to be a cat...but really the shit to be a bear.

12. If you were in the movie "Pulp Fiction", what character would you most likely play? How about Trainspotting? I'd be the Uma Thurman character in pulp fiction and in trainspotting i'd be ewan macgregor.
13. Who would be your dream date? Marta Briscoe and a bottle of really good red wine with cheese and french bread at a bed and breakfast in Pacific Grove, CA.
14. What is the craziest thing that has happened at one of your shows? Realizing who's in the band is crazy enough.
15. What is your favorite drink? Makers Mark on the rocks with a Guiness chaser.
16. Name one thing that not many people know about you that you would like them to know? I'm frightening shy...I have to know you to open up.
17. What is your most embarrassing moment? Far too personal to mention here... come to the show... i'll probably tell there....

19. If you could change one thing about the world, what would you change? The price of decent medical care or getting rid of child abuse.
